1st November 2023 | RAMS - Road Net Link Now Available for Roads and Crossings

A RAMS - Road Net Link is now available. It is now possible to view a road or crossing in RAMS by clicking on it in Road Net.

To access Road Net go to https://mapshare.vic.gov.au/VicMatters/index.html and choose Road Net in the Themes tab.

To view a road or crossing in RAMS just click on the road or crossing on the ‘Road Net’ map to highlight it. Next click on the Asset URL link in the popup window to view that road or crossing in RAMS. Alternatively click on View Additional Details to quickly view the details available in the Road Net

14th June 2023 | UPGRADE COMPLETED - Final steps were completed overnight on the 13th June.

All software components of the RAMS & CAMS 2023 Confirm Software Upgrade have now been completed. ConfirmConnect, Confirm Web and Confirm Enterprise have all been upgraded to V23. This brings a number of improvements to the Confirm Web environment.

Improvements include the ability to search for and view all feature attributes. It also brings the ability to create jobs from defects through the Confirm Web interface, removing the need to log into Confirm Enterprise to complete this step.

Note that there are no significant changes to the login process.

A RAMS & CAMS 2023 Confirm Software Upgrade is planned to occur as soon as possible. This will take the software from V21 to V23. The upgrade is planned to be completed after hours by the Confirm software vendor with support from TSU and the RAMS & CAMS support teams. The system may be unavailable on the morning following the upgrade until any issues are resolved. Existing users can expect to receive a confirmation email once the upgrade is complete. Once complete the software version displayed on the ConfirmWeb login screen will 23.0.

POSTPONED Week Starting Monday 8th May 2023

A RAMS & CAMS 2023 Confirm Software Upgrade planned for the week of May 8th 2023 was postponed due to unforseen software issues. Once complete this upgrade will take the software from V21 to V23. The upgrade is planned to be completed after hours by the Confirm software vendor with support from TSU and the RAMS & CAMS support teams. The system may be unavailable on the morning following the upgrade until any issues are resolved. Existing users can expect to receive a confirmation email once the upgrade is complete. Once complete the software version displayed on the ConfirmWeb login screen will 23.0.

CANCELLED 5pm Monday 1st May 2023

A RAMS & CAMS 2023 Confirm Software Upgrade is scheduled to commence from 5pm Monday 1st May 2023. This will take the software from V21 to V23. The upgrade is planned to be completed after hours by the Confirm software vendor with support from TSU and the RAMS & CAMS support teams. The system may be unavailable on the morning following the upgrade until any issues are resolved. Existing users can expect to receive a confirmation email once the upgrade is complete. Once complete the software version displayed on the ConfirmWeb login screen will 23.0.

Wednesday 19th April 2023

Windows Server Update (Patching) is planned for Wednesday April 19th 2023. This work is undertaken across all systems by TSU (Technology Solutions Unit) and ensures all our systems are secure and up to date. TSU aim to minimise disruption as much as possible by undertaking this work in the early morning or late in the day.
